Repiping Process

If you require an assessment of your building, the first step is to contact us. We have years of experience and can guide you through what can be a complex process to ensure you and your stakeholders know what to expect each step of the way.

1. On-Site Assessment

Conduct a site visit to identify the existing piping layout and characteristics of the building that may impact the new piping installation.

2. Piping System Strategy

Identify the Owner’s desires for the new system, and supply a price reflecting these ideas while keeping the building characteristics and the Owner’s budgets in mind.

3. Educate Ownership Group

Explain the benefits of the new system and the impact of the upcoming installation on the Residents and within the building.

4. Contract Process

Include all items discussed and to be included in the work in a clear, comprehensive document.

5. Project Begins

Set up on site to commence the project. An information meeting is held for all Residents at the outset to answer all questions and put the Residents at ease.

6. Notice of Entry

A system of notices is given to let all Residents know when and where the work is to occur within each home. The in-suite work begins.

7. Testing & Inspections

The work is tested and inspected by the municipal plumbing and building inspectors. The Engineer overseeing the project also does site inspections.

8. Customer Feedback, Project Close-Out

Once the work is complete within each suite, the Residents have the opportunity to let us know that they are satisfied with the work and are able to give us feedback on our performance. When the project is deemed complete, we provide documentation of the site inspections, warranties, valve tag lists and as-built drawings.
